This is not a classic tour of the village with factual descriptions of the buildings, but full of stories told by those who have actually lived here. Here visitors can find out about life in the past, aspects of everyday life, the beginnings of tourism... all accompanied by archive photos that taking them back to the Nendaz of 'days gone by'.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
All you have to do is scan the medal with your smartphone: a page opens up with a number of anecdotes linked to the place where you are. Once the first medal has been scanned, the geolocation function displays all the others on a map. There are two ways to enjoy this experience: either you come across a medal while out and about and, out of curiosity, you scan it to add a cultural touch to your walk; or you choose to discover all the secrets of the village and follow the route in its entirety. The walk should take around 1 hour, not including reading time. The order is not important: the route can be explored freely.
